LGBTQ+ Travel Scholarships

The world doesn't wait for you to afford it.

Scholarships up to $20,000 for low-income LGBTQ+ students who were told study abroad wasn't for them.

What we do

Study abroad has documented outcomes. Low-income LGBTQ+ students are locked out of them.

Students who study abroad earn more, graduate at higher rates, and get hired faster. That advantage shouldn't be a class lottery — or a safety lottery. Wandering With Pride funds the experience and removes the financial pressure that follows students all the way there and back.

From the founder

The stress didn't start when I landed. It started three months before — scraping together deposits, booking flights with money I hadn't earned yet, running the math on whether I'd have enough to eat when I got there. By the time I arrived, I was already exhausted. That's what financial pressure actually steals from you. Not the trip. Every moment of it.

Support the mission

A $500 donation covers a round-trip flight. That's the moment a student stops running financial calculations and starts actually being there.
