WanderMesh Platform
LoRa mesh software layer — unified management for WanderSafeMesh, WanderSOS, WanderAlert, WanderCar, and HAVEN; AES-256 relay nodes that cannot read message content; Meshtastic + ATAK-lite.
Privacy & InfrastructureAbout
WanderVerse has converged on LoRa mesh as the communications infrastructure for its most critical safety features — the ones that must work when cellular fails, when WiFi is unavailable, when the grid is down, or when carrier-based communication is surveilled. WanderSafeMesh, WanderStation, WanderAlert, WanderTag, and WanderCar's WanderLoJack all use Meshtastic-compatible LoRa hardware — but without a unified management layer, they are separate products that don't share topology visibility, don't share configuration management, and don't route emergency alerts through each other's relay nodes. WanderMesh Platform fixes this. It provides a unified management UI for all WanderVerse mesh devices (topology visualization, firmware update management, channel configuration across the fleet), standardized device onboarding for community nodes, WanderVerse-specific protocol extensions (WV-SOS, WV-CheckIn, WV-Safe zone notifications), and ATAK-lite integration for HAVEN coordinators who need shared situational awareness across multiple personnel. The architectural guarantee: AES-256 encrypted channels mean relay nodes receive and forward encrypted packets — they cannot read message content. The network expands with every community node added.
Features
- Unified mesh management: topology map, firmware versions, node health for all WanderVerse hardware
- WanderVerse channel architecture: WV-Safety / WV-HAVEN / WV-Tracking / WV-Public — dedicated channels per use case
- AES-256 encrypted channels: relay nodes forward without reading — seized nodes reveal no message content
- Device onboarding: community relay node added in under 5 minutes — no technical expertise required
- ATAK-lite integration: WanderSafeMesh coordinators share situational awareness without cellular
- Firmware fleet management: push updates to all managed nodes; phased rollout; rollback capability
- WV-SOS message type: structured emergency alert propagates at maximum priority through all WanderVerse nodes
- WV-Safe zone: WanderAlert Personal detects HAVEN safehouse proximity via BLE without cellular
- Coverage gap analysis: topology visualization shows where new nodes would close coverage
- Meshtastic-compatible: standard Meshtastic nodes can relay WanderVerse mesh traffic — interoperability maintained
