Aspire News, the most-used discreet DV safety app, exposed 4,000+ voice recordings of survivors on an unprotected cloud server in 2020. No existing DV app has established survivor-safe evidence standards. 75% of domestic violence homicides occur at or immediately after separation — the moment of leaving is the most dangerous moment, and no app is designed for that window. Bisexual women experience intimate partner violence at a 61.1% lifetime rate — the highest of any demographic group. 41.4% of trans adults are denied shelter access. Only 15% of DV shelters in the US accept pets — and 18-48% of survivors delay leaving because they cannot bring their pet; abusers routinely harm pets as coercive control. VAWA I-360 self-petition takes 41.5-46.5 months; undocumented survivors need documentation starting years before the legal process completes. OVW STOP granted $171.2M in FY2025 with a mandatory 10% culturally specific set-aside — LGBTQ+-serving organizations are eligible. WanderHarbor is the tool that fixes what Aspire News documented: timestamped, hash-verified evidence, discreet operation, LoRa mesh when phones are monitored, LGBTQ+-native design.

  • Discrete chosen-network alert: no visible phone use required — abuser phone monitoring is common
  • Real-time offsite evidence upload: timestamped, hash-verified — court-ready chain of custody unlike Aspire News breach
  • 75% of DV homicides at separation: lethality indicators built in — the leaving moment gets the most protection
  • Bisexual women 61.1% IPV rate: designed at that scale, not as edge case
  • Trans shelter denial 41.4%: curated trans-affirming shelter locator — no registry exists anywhere else
  • Pets barrier to leaving: 15% of shelters accept pets — pet-friendly shelter directory integrated
  • VAWA self-petition: I-360 starts now — 3.5-4 year processing, documentation built from day one
  • Financial abuse toolkit: account access log, hidden assets, credit monitoring, emergency fund routing
  • OVW STOP $171.2M FY2025 with 10% culturally specific set-aside — grant-fundable infrastructure
  • WanderSafeMesh LoRa mesh: safehouse navigation with no visible phone use — phones monitored, LoRa isn't

Repair & refurb

Send it back. Prepaid label. Component-level repair, module upgrades, firmware updates. 7-year spare parts guarantee. Donate on return — refurbished hardware goes to shelter and community partners. GPL firmware: the device works even if WanderVerse shuts down.

No hardware subscription — ever

BMW charged $18/mo for heated seats already in your car. GM locked remote start. Eero charges for VPN on hardware that could run it free. We don't do that. You bought it, you own it — every feature works forever, no subscription required. WanderAssist ($9/mo optional) is a convenience layer, never a gate. Safety features are never paywalled.

Pro & Lux tiers — coming

Every WanderVerse hardware product will offer Pro and Lux finish tiers — premium materials and handcrafted finishes by WanderVerse Artisans: supported employment workers with artistic skills. Each Lux unit ships with a Finished By card. Lux revenue cross-subsidizes nonprofit pricing.
